Parish information day

The Community Council have organized a Parish information day for this Sun. the 22^nd. in the Sports Fields Aghavine from 3pm til 5pm. All of the Clubs and organizations in the Parish will have an opportunity to show case what they do with representatives on hand to discuss and answer all questions on the day. This is a great opportunity for all of the people who have moved into our Parish over the last 4 to 5 years to acquaint themselves with all organizations with in our Parish and to meet all the relevant people from the Clubs.

Fr.O Neills 0:10 v Carrigtwohill 0:04

Our Fe 21 Footballers had a well deserved victory over a gallant Carrigtwohill side last Fri. night in Carrigtwohill played on a bitterly cold night great credit must go to both Teams for the commitment and attitude shown during the game. We opened the scoring with a pt. which was followed up within a few minutes with a pt. from Carrig. We scored the next 3 pts. without reply to lead at half time by 4pts. to 1, both Teams had some good scoring opportunities during the first half but some wayward kicking saw all these sent wide. The 2^nd half opened with us extending our lead again Carrig. replied with a pt. of their own, we were starting to take control of proceedings and duly added 2 more pts. before Carrig. replied again with another pt. from here to the finish we were always in control and fired over another 3 pts. without reply to leave the final score line reading 10 pts. to 0:03. We now play near neighbours Glenbower / Ita’s in the ¼ Final this Saturday at 3pm with venue TBC .
