U14 Hurling League .
Fr.O'Neills 4:04 v Carrigtwohill 1:10.
Carrigtwohill was the venue for our first Premier 2 Hurling league game
of the season. Carrigtwohill were the livelier team in the first half with our
opponents getting some fine points going in at the break with a one point
lead. We made some changes in the second half and this was to pvove
crucial with two early goals which gave us a five point lead which we held
to the final whistle.

U16 Hurling League.
Fr.O'Neills 2:08 v Fermoy 1:05
We made the trip to Fermoy for our first league game of the season. Plenty
work has been done in the last few weeks between training and matches
and this was very obvious against a good Fermoy side. Exchanges were tough
in the first half with both teams having many chances of scores we went
in at the break with a two point lead. We began to take control in the second
half and led by nine points with five minutes remaining. Fermoy got a late
consolation goal which gave us a six point victory.
