Carrigtwohill 1:07 v Fr.O Neills 1:10

We secured our third win in a row in the Jnr.F/ball Lge.Div.2 when we accounted for Carrigtwohill away on Mon.night the 5th.Right from the throw in we took the game to Carrig.playing some fast attacking Football but unfortunately we just could not turn our dominance into scores and its safe to say that their goalmouth led a charmed life through out most of the first half,it was Carrig.who put the first score on the board after 10 mins.when after a rare intrusion into our half of the pitch they got the games opening pt.we did eventually get our opening score after 14mins.when we scored a good goal and followed that up a min.later with a pt.we got a point in the closing stages of the half to lead at the short whistle 1:02 to 0:03.the most frustrating thing to come from the first half was our wides total if we were to go on and win the game we were going to have to turn some of the many chances that were coming our way into scores.The second half was similar to the first in terms of possesion with again our fine attacking play breaking down when in a position to score,Carrigtwohill to their credit kept working hard at geting back into the game and that is what they did scoring the first 2 points of the 2nd half we responed well by geting the next 2 points and from being in an attacking situation where we lost possesion Carrig.swept down the field and scored a good goal to take the lead,this score seemed to get our lads focused again and we really started to motor when we scored 6 points to Carrig's.1 for the remainder of the game to seal a good win,as i'v said in previous reports there is serious competition for places with some of the younger lads continuing to put in some good displays and the make up of the starting 15 come the first rnd.of the C/ship is anybodys guess.
