We played our neighbours Rsl.Rovers in the back door of this years Jnr.B Hurling C/ship.hoping to get our campaign back on track and that we duly did in some style.We were first out of the blocks with a free which was answered in style by our opponents scoring 1:01 in a matter of minutes but that was as good as it got for them as we took complete control of proceedings from that point on scoring 2:07 to their 1 pt for the rest of the half the goals coming from Fergal Duffy and Mark Hayes with Shane Harrington contributing 6 of those pts.to lead at half time on a scoreline of 2:08 to 1:02.The 2nd half was no different as we continued to take the game to our oppopnents scoring another 3goals and 5 pts.to the Rovers 1goal and 4 pts with the goals coming courtesy of Bryan Sweeney 2 and Michael Paul Bailey with the points being shared out amongst the rest of the forwards our defence also deserves a mention well marshalled by Ray O Neill at centre back with all the rest of the defenders and our GoalKeeper doing an excellent job along side him,so we march on with a date with Ballinacurra up next for us in the 3rd rnd.
