Fr.O Neills 1:19 v Glen Rovers 1:17

We played the Glen in rnd.10 of the Int.Hurling Lge.on Fri.3rd.last in The Glen,this game is our last before we play Eire Óg in the C/ship.next Sat.the 11th.In a lively opening half we were fast out of the blocks leading 5pts.to 1 after 10 mins.of play,the Glen came back at us to level proceedings in the next few mins.We continued to dominate play clocking up another 1:04 to the Glen's 3pts to go in at half time leading on a scoreline of 1:09 to 1:05,we would have been further ahead only for some wayward shooting at times when a better option was available.

The Glen upped the ante from the restart and drew level with 4 unanswered pts.of their own,both teams exchanged 5pts.each over the next 15 mins then we hit a purple patch and scored 5 very good pts.with the Glen firing over 3 pts.of their own,this brought an end to the scoring which saw us wining on the above scoreline.This was a good workout for lads and left the Management with plenty food for thought as they go about picking the starting 15 for the Eire Og game next Sat.
