Fr.O Neills 3:17 v Cobh 1:10

We played Cobh in the 1st.rnd.of the Fé21 Hurling C/ship.last Fri.night in Ballinacurra.On an excellent evening for C/ship.Hurling it was Cobh who opened the scoring with a pt.we replied by scoring 3 very good pts.of our own,Cobh replied with a pt.from a free before we scored 4 more pts.Cobh replied again with another pt.before we got the 1st.of our 3 goals,Cobh got their 4th and final pt.of the half after this.We finished the half strongly scoring another goal and 4pts.to lead at half time on a score line of 2:11 to 4pts.

We got the opening score of the 2nd half a pt.which was answered with a pt.from Cobh.Cobh to their credit came more into the game as the half wore on and were duly rewarded with an excellently taken goal of their own both teams traded pts.from here on until we scored our 3rd and final goal which was followed by a pt.to close out the game which saw us wining on the above scoreline.This was a good workman like performance from our lads and they now play Youghal in the 1/4 Final.
