Fr.O Neills 3:16 v Ballygarvan 0:14

We played Ballygarvan in an Intermediate Hurling challenge in Aghavine on Sun.15th.Having won the toss we elected to play with the strong breeze that was blowing that morning.We started the game very much on the front foot and it was not long before we started to clock up the scores with pts.being scored from all over the field.After 12 mins.of play we lead 1:07 to 4pts,we continued to play with serious intensity and were full value for our half time lead of 2:13 to 5pts.It was Ballygarvans turn to play with the elements for the 2nd half and to be fair to them they took the game to us with some good scores of their own,we scored 1:03 ourselves in this half and finished the game wining on the above scoreline.This was the 2nd good performance in the space of a week with fellows really starting to put down markers for a starting place come C/ship. v Eire Og in 4 weeks time.
