Fr.O Neills 3:13 v Cloyne 2:11

We entertained Cloyne in our 2nd Jnr.hurling Lge.game of the year on Weds.night last.Short a number of players due to College and Lvg.Cert.Exams it gave some other members of our panel an opportunity to show us what they could do and for the most part they didn't disappoint,in a tough physical battle where some of the hurling on show from both sides was out of the top drawer we were full value for our half time lead of 2:08 to 2:05.Cloyne started the 2nd half with serious purpose and strung over 4 points in a row to our 5 wides in a row to take the lead,sensing that the game was starting to slip from our grasp our lads stuck to the task at hand and stamped their authority on proceedings scoring a great goal and 5 points to Cloynes 2 points to close out the game and to win on the above scoreline.
