No joy today for our Fe14's in the 2011 Premier1 Hurling Lge.final.

Having won the toss for venue this game went ahead today in Aghavine at 2:00pm on an ideal day for a game of hurling and on a well prepared pitch our lads had to give way once again to a much bigger and more physical team in Blackrock,try hard as they did through out the game there was no breaking down the Rockies defence and great credit goes to the lads for not giving up the fight and for trying to the very end,well done and heads up lads ye gave it yere all,Mr.Jim Forbes Chairman of the Central Board presented the Cup to the Rockies Captain and after that both sets of supporters and teams were treated to some light refreshments in the the Hall in Aghavine courtesy of the Mothers of our players which was very much appreciated by all present,a big thank you to all the ladies who helped out.
