Well done and congrats to our Fe16's on a well deserved victory today in the 2011 Premier 2 Hurling Lge.Final. Played in Aghavine after having won the toss for venue on an excellently prepared pitch and in ideal conditions our lads were full value for the 8pts.winning margin at the end,with both teams fully committed from the start a good tough hours hurling ensued with no quarter asked or given by either side and with referee James Bermingham adopting a good common sense approach to proceedings hurling was the real winner on the day.

Mr.Jim Forbes Chairman Central Board presented the cup amid great scenes of joy to our winning Captain on the day Joe Millerick who thanked the Fe16 mentors for all their hard work over the past 12 months with todays win rounding off a great year for this panel of players having already won the Eastern Region A Grade Football C/ship just before Christmas.Todays game marked the finish of the Juvenile careers and the begining of the Adult careers of Joe.Millerick,Mark O Keeffe,Adrian Kenneally,Daniel Harrington,Kevin Lee,Padraig McMahon and Kevin Sloane here's wishing these lads the best of luck in the years ahead as they pursue their careers at Adult level with the Club.
