Fé21 Premier Hurling Co. C/ship.

Congrats to our Fé21 Hurlers and Mgnt. Team on a superb performance against a determined Blarney side in the ¼ final of this years Premier Co. C/ship. in Caherlag last Sat. week, this win puts us into the Co. C/ship. 1/2 final where we will play the winners of the Blackrock v Newcestown ¼ final on this coming Sat. with time & venue TBC.

Intermediate Hurling Co. C/ship.

Another local East Cork derby awaits us in the ¼ final of this years Co. C/ship. as a result of Dungourneys win over a tough Ballincollig side in last Sats. 4^th rnd. replay, this is scheduled for the weekend after next with time & venue TBC. The prize for the winners is a ½ final meeting with Aghada a week later.

Juvenile Club

U16 Hurling.

Our U16 Premier 2a Hurling team have had a busy few weeks with three league games

First up was a journey to Eire Og where we suffered a 3:16 to 0:12 defeat. We then went

down to Belgooley where we had a tough encounte  with Sliabh Rua where we won on a

scoreline of 4:10 to 0:17. Our final game was against Watergrasshill where we reversed

the Championship defeat by coming away with a ten point victory. We now have qualified

for a league semi final where we will be playing Eire Og this coming weekend. This will

probably be a home venue so we hope to get plenty support for this game.

1996 20^th year Anniversary

A social evening was held in Finns Tavern on Saturday week last to mark the anniversary of that famous victory over Castlelyons in the East Cork Junior A Hurling Final. There was a video shown of the game and Liam O Laocha of Youghal gave a detailed analysis of the day and what this meant to the Club. There were interviews with the team captain on the day and Tom Millerick a selector was also interviewed. It was lovely to see that nineteen of the panel were in attendance on the night. This was organised by Finns Tavern and the Juvenile Club and great credit must be given to both, refreshments were in amble supply and everyone who had attended the match in 1996 had plenty of tales to tell late into the night.
