Cups visit to Kilcredan N.S.

A group of our Players along with our Chaiman Michael Hegarty, Club PRO & Registrar Seamus Joyce and Matty & Catherine Kenneally paid a visit to our Parish National School in Kilcredan on Thurs. last with the Intermediate Hurling Co. C/ship. Cup, the Intermediate Hurling Lge. Div. 2 Cup and the East Cork Fé 21 B Football Cup. It was indeed an honour for all attending especially our players who honed the skills of our National game at a young age in Kilcredan under the tutelage of Margaret Beausang & Colm Cronin and in doing so won numerous Sciath na Scoil Hurling Titles down through the years, all the Classes were visited individually with great interaction between the players and pupils, the players presented all pupils with some refreshments which went down a treat. The Club would like to thank School Principal Margaret Beusang and all her staff for the fantastic reception and hospitality shown to us on our visit and would like to take this opportunity to wish them well in this year’s Sciath na Scoil competition and to thank the School for their tremendous work and promotion of both Hurling & Football on an ongoing basis.
