Tramore was the destination of choice for our Golf Society’s Captain Frank Careys weekend away this year, a travelling party of 30 headed east early on Sat. morning last, we played our Sat. singles comp. in Tramore Golf Course with Luke Swayne taking the Honours on the day it was on then to the Majestic Hotel for a wonderful meal and the presentation of prizes with Luke being presented with the Green Jacket a good night was had by all. The following morning we headed back to Tramore Golf Course for our Team Comp. which we played over the 9 Hole Course with the Team under the Captaincy of Catherine Hayes taking the Honors over Breda O Donoghues Team. The weekend was a fantastic success and very well organized by Frank with a huge word of thanks to both the Majestic Hotel and Tramore Golf Club for their hospitality and generosity.
