Time and Venue TBC.

Results.
U14A County Huring Final Fr O'Neill's 2:04 v Courcey Rovers 3:04.
Mayfield was the venue for this U14A hurling Final played on Sunday week last.  We were to get the opening point courtesy of Jason Hankard Courceys were level five minutes later with a close in free. A John Millerick free was to give us a two points to one lead at halftime. The first half was very keenly contested with both sets of backs on top With Loic Noufang, Sam Shanahan, William Abernethy and Ciaran Cuillnane clearing their lines on many occasions.
An early second half pt. For ourselves was quickly replied to with a
fine goal for Courcey's. We then hit a purple patch with two goals and a point
from Jason Hankard and substitute Brian Kenneally which gave us a four
point lead going into injury time. Courceys were not finished and with two
goals and a point in the seven minutes of injury time played they went on to have a three point victory. This was real heartache for the lads who put in a great shift
throughout this game. Great credit to Dick, Quintin and Garrett who put in great
work throughout the year their troops certainly responded on this Final day
also well done to Courceys who completed the double. Our support was
certainly great on the day with parents and many aldult players giving us
vocal support. WELL DONE LADS.
