The death has occurred of Cork County Board president Dan Hoare. A life-long member of the St. Catherine's Club, represented the club for many years at the County Board.
He was a distinguished Treasurer of Cork County Board for nine years and also served as Treasurer of the Munster Council for a period of four years. He took up the position of Uachtarán Choiste Chontae Chorcaí at the Annual Convention on December 14th.

Funeral arrangements:

Reposing at his residence, 2 Merrion Court, Montenotte, on Tuesday, 3rd February, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
Mass on Wednesday in St Joseph's Church, Mayfield, 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to Conna.
