Cork Minor Hurling   

Commiserations to Deccie Dalton, Billy Dunne and all involved with the Cork Minor Hurlers on their harsh defeat to Limerick in Pr. Na nGael in the Munster semi-final on last Thurs. Night.

Puc Fadá

There was no joy for Deccie Dalton & Ciarr O Connor last Sat. In the Munster Final of this years Púc Fada which took place in the Galtee Mountains in Tipperary, Deccie finished joint runner up losing out by 1 shot in the Adult Final.

The Cork Minor Hurlers were defeated by Limerick last Thurs night Billy Dunne
and Declan Dalton were involved with this team all season, Well done to both.

Fr. O Neills 4:04 v Cloughduv 0:10.
We had a six point victory over Cloughduv in a hard fought encounter
played at Cloughduv on Wednesday night last. The home side had the opening
two points one from play and a close in free, Arthur Nganou was to
reply with a point in the fifth minute. We hit a purple patch and  had goals from Jason
Hankard,Jake Shine,
and Evan Mcevoy which gave us a healthy lead at the twentieth
minute. Cloughduv were
to reduce the deficit with three further points but a goal from Jason
Hankard before the
break gave us a siix point lead 4:01 to 0:07.
The second half was a poor affair with Cloughduv getting three further
points we were only to record three points ourselves in this second period. Cloughduv were to regret many missed frees in this period and our six point victory was probably not a true reflection of the overall game.
We now play Watergrasshill in the semi-final stage an our socks will have
to be pulled for this encounter if we are to reach the Final. Look out in the local shops for notices of times and venue and you will be also kept up to speed
