What a Team & Panel our Fé21 Hurlers are, first of all congrats and well done to all the Players, Mgnt. and all involved in last Sundays superb and historic first Fé21 A East Cork Hurling title, in what was a tough hard hours Hurling on an excellently prepared venue in Shanagarry our lads showed unbelievable character and determination to fashion a 9pts. win after being harshly reduced to 14 men before half time. The sending off had a galvanizing effect if nothing else on our lads with the performance in the 2^nd half a joy to behold with every one of the players and the 2 Subs. that were introduced showing leadership qualities way beyond their age. When Captain Mark O Keeffe pictured was presented with the Ben Purcell Cup by East Cork Board Chairman Mr. Dick Fitzgerald it was one of the proudest moments in the Clubs history, the panel & Mgnt. were then treated to a complimentary meal in The Thatched Inn where the celebrations kicked off and we finished up in Finns Tavern at the end of the night, we now await the North Cork winners in the ¼ Final of the County in a weeks time or so.

Prem. Minor 2 Football C/ship.

Congrats and well done to our Minor Footballers on a fine win over a fancied Ahane Gaels side in the ¼ final of this years C/ship. last Weds. night in the Mardyke we now play Bantry Blues in the ½ final in a couple of weeks time.

Jnr. B Hurling C/ship:

The best of luck to our Jnr. B Hurling Panel & Mgnt. when they take on Midleton in the ¼ Final of this years C/ship. at 6pm in Castlemartyr next Sunday the 6^th. Its been a long wait for this panel having played our 1^st rnd. back on the 28th of June until next Sun. evening Sept. 6^th.
