Jnr. B Hurling East Cork Final:
Our Jnr. B Hurlers were back in C/ship. action last week firstly on Weds. 14Th 7 days after wining the East Cork Final taking on Fermoy in the 1/4 final of the Co. in Carrigtwohill and after a tough hard hours Hurling we came through on a scoreline of 1:13 to 2:09 this was a tremdous performance from the lads which set up a semi-final meeting with St. Finbarrs last Sat. in Riverstown this was always going to be a tough ask coming so soon after the Fermoy game but through to form the lads took to the task in good spirit and having put in a good first 30mins went in leading on a scoreline of 1:09 to 0:08, the 2nd half proved to be very tough on the lads with the Barr's experience, power and physical strenght proving to be more than we could cope with and so we lost out on a scoreline of 1:09 to 2:13. This was the first time in both Lge. and C/ship. that this panel of players were beaten this year a fantastic achievement in itself well done to all involved.

The best of luck to our Minor Hurlers when they take on Sars. next Sun. in Togher in the semi-final of this years Lge. with the winners playing either Blackrock or Douglas in the Final.
