Golf Society:

Josephine Swayne’s year as Captain came to a close when we had our last official outing of the year last Sunday in Mahon Golf Club it was a 4 person scramble competition with the course in great condition it made for some very good scores on the day.

1^st: Luke Swayne, Ger. Donnelly, Noel Leahy & Cathal Rochford.

2^nd: Noel O Driscoll, Seamus Joyce & Kieran O Regan.

3^rd: Tom O Donoghue, Josephine Sawyne, Shay Rochford & Liam Hyde.

Many thanks to Sinead Cahalane & Alan for their hospitality on Sunday evening at the prize presentations. The Golfer of the year ( or in this case Golfers ) were also announced with no separating Luke Swayne & Liam Leahy after the Golfing year, well done to both the lads. Our AGM will take place in 2 / 3 weeks time and well done to Josephine on a great year’s Golfing.

Juvenile Club

U14 Pat Kelleher Hurling Tournament.

We were invited to the Na Piarsaigh annual Hurling tournament last Saturday.

Valley Rovers, Naomh Barrog Dublin and Na Piarsaigh made up the four sides

that competed in the competition. A win over Na Piarsaigh by four points was

followed by a three point defeat to Valley Rovers. In our final group game against

Naomh Barrog we had a three point victory, we just missed out on reaching the

final by points scored. However we had a Very enjoyable day, and many thanks

to Na Piarsaighs the hosts.

U14A County League Football Final.

We are playing the final of the above competition next Sunday against Macroom.

having had a great win over Canovee hopes are high that we can get a result

against a fancied Macroom side. Please Support.

Our U14/16 panels are doing an overnight camp in Knockadoon this coming

weekend. The aim of the camp is to further develop the team ethos of sport,

aswell as having some fun.
