East Cork Jnr. A Football Final

Huge congratulations to Manager Eugene Kenefick his selectors Liam Leahy, Michael Holland and Colm Millerick and all the players on a fantastic victory in the East Cork Jnr. A Football Final played in a windy Pilmore on Sat. 19^th Dec. This was a totally committed whole hearted performance from all the lads who were full value for their 3 point win which brought the curtain down on the playing year. This was the 4^th Cup won by the Club this year at East Cork level and the 4^th title at this grade since we first won it in 1996. For sure 2015 has been a hugely successful year on the playing fields and when Captain Niall Griffin was presented with the Cup by Board Chairman Mr. Dick Fitzgerald it put the icing on the cake for the year. Shane Harrington was the worthy winner of the MOTM award which was presented by Board vice-Chairman Mr. Donal O Keeffe, the celebrations lasted late into the night.

Annual Long Púc

Due to the inclement weather conditions that prevailed on St. Stephens day we had to reschudule our Annual Long Púc to last Sat. Jan. 2^nd in Ladysbridge, the presentation of prizes took place in The Thatched Inn immediately afterwards with finger food served that evening compliments of the the Mgnt. Pictured are our Chairman Mr. Michael Hegarty with Mr. Dean Parker presenting the Parker Shield to Tomas Millerick with Tom Millerick and Ger. Millerick deputising for his Brother Joe.

Our  Annual  raceday  was  a great  success  which  was held in Garryvoe on 28th  December last.
