The Club was recently invited by the Mgnt. and Staff to visit the Oaklodge Nursing Home in Churchtown South, with numerous present day residents who have strong ties to the parish and with so many of our elderly parishioners having been cared for down through the years in Oaklodge it was indeed our pleasure to take up this invite last Sat. the 6th Feb. and visit with the 5 Cups won by the Club in 2015, hats off to the Players on the day who showed kindness and courtesy to all the residents which was greatly appreciated by all. A special word of thanks to Garryvoe Lady and staff member Eileen Kenneally for making this happen.
